Take a shot when:
- Tidus says Zanarkand, this is my story, blitzball
- Yuna says aeon, summoner, pilgrimage
- Auron says Jecht, Braska, pilgrimage, this is my/your story
- Wakka says ya
- Rikku says y’know
- Seymour appears and you have to fight him
- Jecht calls Tidus a cry baby
- O’aka shows up in a hostile area
- You see a chocobo
Oh, I remember this! This was right before the part where you use the airship to visit Miracle Max.

“Echo” by Trapt
“I’ll run away with you
By my side.
I’ll run away with you
By my side.”
God, this is just a great song, a real masterpiece from Trapt’s debut album, overshadowed by their harder rock stuff. If there’s one song more dead-on to my life, I’d like to hear it. And that mini-solo is just… “Yes. :) “
“The Boxer” by Simon and Garfunkel
The fact that my friends are shocked when I say I love Simon and Garfunkel astounds me to this day. I mean, to quote Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock, “I’ve got two ears and a heart, don’t I?”
“Sounds of Silence”, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “Bookends”, “Mrs. Robinson” and especially “The Boxer” are fantastically beautiful songs that are often overlooked by many and are just fantastic to those who’ve heard them.
“Dance, Dance” by Fall Out Boy
… If I were to be honest here, any song from Fall Out Boy’s Infinity on High is a guilty pleasure. They’re all good songs (seriously. “I’ve Got All This Ringing in My Ears and None on My Fingers”, though the most annoying title this side of Panic!, has the greatest ending ever, if nothing else). And I love the album to no end. But I mean, it’s effing Fall Out Boy. But, what really kills my reputation is “Dance, Dance” more than any. That’s the only real Fall Out Boy song that can take down a man with any self-respect.
